Project Worthmore is proud to partner with GOALS (“Get Outside and Learn Something”) to send youth from our community on a once in a lifetime adventure! GOALS is a nonprofit organization that leads multi-day river expeditions for youth across the country. GOALS uses immersive outdoor experiences to teach leadership, build confidence, and foster meaningful relationships.

Through this partnership, we’re able to offer refugee youth the opportunity to join river trips alongside U.S.-born students. These experiences provide more than just adventure, they are a chance to connect with peers from different backgrounds, explore the natural world, and grow in resilience, curiosity, and confidence.

For many of our students, these trips mark their first time camping, rafting, or experiencing remote wilderness. By bringing together youth from different communities, the program helps break down barriers and build bridges of understanding and friendship.

Support Refugee Youth

This summer, we hope to send 25 students on various river expeditions across the U.S. The cost to send one student on a trip is $1,000, which covers transportation, gear, food, and guided programming.

You can help make this possible.

Your donation directly supports a student’s access to this life-changing experience. Whether you sponsor part of a trip or an entire journey, your gift opens the door to connection, growth, and unforgettable memories.
