Dear Friends,
As we reach the end of this year, I’ve been reflecting on what truly defines Project Worthmore. Even in a year marked by shifting political winds, administrative changes, ICE activity, construction hurdles, and significant cuts to Medicaid and food funding, one thing has remained constant: our unwavering commitment to those we serve.
Through it all, our team has adapted, sometimes on a daily basis, as policies shift and new information emerges. Their ability to stay responsive, grounded, and focused in such a rapidly changing environment is nothing short of remarkable. Our volunteers have continued to show up with steady generosity, and our donors have stood beside us, believing in the power of community and in the futures we help build every day.
Because of this collective strength, the year has also been filled with meaningful impact. Thousands of families accessed dental care, food, education, and community navigation services. We deepened partnerships, and continued building a new home, The Roots, a space designed to increase access, stability, and belonging for our community for years to come. Even in a year full of unknowns, hope has remained at the center of everything we accomplished together.
I am profoundly grateful for everyone who makes this work possible. You remind us that while we cannot predict tomorrow, we can shape it, through compassion, consistency, and the belief that every person deserves the chance to thrive.
As we look ahead, we ask for your continued support. Your partnership ensures that no matter the external pressures or policy shifts, Project Worthmore remains a trusted, stable presence for those rebuilding their lives.
Thank you for standing with us, for lifting up our mission, and for believing in the strength of community. Together, we will continue to show up, serve, and build a welcoming future, one family, one neighbor, one day at a time.
With sincere gratitude,
Frank Anello
