Dear Project Worthmore Family,

For over a decade, I have sent a year-end letter to a growing community. These letters have offered me time to reflect and, each year, my deep gratitude for all of you grows.

Each year, we work to bring you a story of your impact, and this year we were honored to share the story of our delivery driver, Hsar, who so perfectly shows the beauty and complexity of the situation of those who have been displaced: he is both a refugee from Burma and part of the welcoming community here in the US. Hsar watched the fall of Kabul and was compelled to make sure that his experience would be used to help the newest arrivals to Colorado.

The story we shared these past few weeks is one of generosity, opportunity and family. It is a story that is not possible without your generosity, the opportunities that are provided by this growing community and the family that we are all becoming. Not only did Hsar find employment and a purpose in helping others, but all the Afghan families we have resettled have found homes, enrolled their children in school, they have found work and belonging. We do not want to insinuate that there is no struggle or pain, we want to simply and sincerely thank you for lessening both.

Last year, you stepped up to support our work in resetting evacuees from Afghanistan. Thanks to your help and the effect we were able to have in welcoming families with dignity, we are once again partnering with the state to welcome Ukranians, Haitians and Cubans in the coming year.

You stepped up when we had the opportunity to purchase our building, and this year, we are finishing the final touches of our brand-new state-of-the-art 12 chair dental clinic and renovations which include space for our ECE partner, Flame Lily Montessori school.

Thanks to you, we brought back community neighbor nights, dozens of people passed their citizenship tests, 450+ students are learning English and over 6,000 patients have received oral health care.

There is no other way to put it: your contribution makes an enormous difference.

I want you all to know just how much it means to someone who had no choice but to leave their home to now have the possibility to make a new home here because of you.

With what we have on the horizon, we ask that you continue to support our work and make sure that Project Worthmore remains a stable home for those who have been displaced.

With unwavering gratitude and optimism for another great year ahead,

Frank Anello, Co-Founder and Executive Director
